The SDU Law School actively promotes and participates into the social service work so as to contribute to the rule of law building progresses nation-wide and province-wide. The Law School has established in-depth cooperation in academic research, student training and internships with the Shandong Provincial High People’s Court, Shandong Provincial High People’s Procuratorate, Jinan Intermediate People’s Court, Jinan People’s Procuratorate, Qingdao Intermediate People’s Court, Qingdao People’s Procuratorate. The Law School has established teaching and internship bases in many prestigious law firms including the Shandong Kangqiao Law Firm, Shandong Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm, Qilu Law Firm, Zhonglun Law Firm. The Law School have successfully invited twenty more experienced and outstanding judges, prosecutors and lawyers to become adjunct professors to advise M.A. students or adjunct professors of the practice. Tens of faculty members are either legal counselors to the Shandong Provincial CCP Committee, Shandong Provincial Government, The Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People’s Congress, or members to the Shandong Think Tank of Law and Politics, or members to the Committee of Judicial Selection and Disciplinary Punishment, or Representatives to People’s Congresses at all levels, or members of the People's Political Consultative Conference, or expert counselors to different party and governmental departments. Through multiple ways and venues, the faculty members have successfully promoted and popularized the rule of law ideas.
