The Institute of Constitutional and Administrative Law Studies has 10 faculty members, with 8 having a Ph.D. degree (four with a Ph.D. from overseas prestigious universities). The Institute’s main research foci include constitutional law, administrative law, human rights and other related subjects. The University Center for Political Culture and Constitutionalism aims to promote the study of Chinese constitutionalism and political culture, and has produced a great number of high-rofiled and frequently cited publications on the fundamental constitutional theories, Chinese constitutional practices, human rights theories and practices. The institute has thus established its reputation at home and abroad. The University Center for East Asian Legal Studies sets its goal to promote the comparative studies in-between East-Asian legal systems, and builds smooth channels for legal exchanges and co-operations with Japanese and Korean law schools. This center has grown into an important platform for the law school’s international exchanges and co-operations.
